There is lots changing in the world of audit. Firms are still grappling with changes that have taken effect in 2021. There are big changes in the pipeline affecting risk assessment and quality management and there’s a plethora of feedback from professional bodies to take on board. This seminar will provide a file reviewer’s perspective on all the important things to get right to ensure tip top audit files in 2022. Subjects covered will include:

  • Key tips and traps when drafting audit reports
  • Issues arising from FRC disciplinary cases and what they mean for smaller practices

About Peter Herbert

After qualifying in 1993, Peter spent a number of years in industry and now spends much of his time delivering training courses on aspects of financial reporting, auditing, company law and practice regulation, principally to accountants working in professional practice and in industry. When not training, Peter spends much of his time carrying out audit file reviews and practice assurance reviews for firms of accountants and advising them on issues of financial reporting and audit methodology. This allows him to bring a practical insight to the courses and lectures that he delivers.
