Ultimately, we all want our businesses to thrive. A significant part of achieving this success is to have an in-depth understanding of how the business is performing which is done through the preparation of company accounts.
Our two-day Company Accounts course will give you a comprehensive overview of the key disclosure requirements of UK GAAP to enable attendees to prepare and review financial statements effectively.
Areas of learning include common year-end adjustments, tangible fixed assets, leases, Directors’ remuneration and related party transactions.
We will walk you through the requirements of FRS 102 (including Section 1A) and FRS 105 for micro entities. As well as looking at filing options at Companies House and how these differ from accounts for shareholders.

Who is this course suitable for?
The Company Accounts two-day course is aimed at those who prepare statutory financial statements for SMEs.
Delegates for this course must have a sound knowledge and understanding of double-entry bookkeeping.

This course is presented by: Adam Loake
An Advisor at HAT Group of Accountants, Adam writes and presents training courses for small and medium sized firms of accountants covering audit and related issues.
Adam also conducts quality control file reviews, giving him an insight into the real-life problems faced during the preparation of financial statements.
Prior to joining HAT he spent over 15 years working in practice at independent and top 20 firms.
