CPD Training

What is CPD Training?

According to cpduk.co.uk, “CPD stands for Continuing Professional Development and is the term used to describe the learning activities professionals engage in to develop and enhance their abilities. CPD is a holistic approach towards the enhancement of personal skills and proficiency throughout a professional’s career.”

Described as “a commitment to ongoing lifelong learning,” CPD is essential for all accountancy professionals. In an industry that is constantly changing, it is of primordial importance that accountants, both well-seasoned and in training, stay ahead of and prepared for changes in industry standards and practices. CPD helps you do just that, and ensures that your whole team’s knowledge base is continually challenged, refreshed, and kept up to date, so that your team remains compliant and capable of achieving the minimum number of hours of CPD per year set out by your chosen professional accounting body.

Tax Seminars

What are tax seminars?

We offer four Quarterly Tax Update Seminars, each one designed to ensure that accountants are up to date with the significant developments in Tax of that quarter.

To give an example of what one of our Quarterly Tax Update Seminars is like, each seminar takes place in just one day, from 9.30am - 12:30pm. In these three hours, we will cover example tax cases and tips, HMRC press releases and articles covering what is happening, but also why it matters to you and your clients. These three hours go towards the completion of your total mandatory CPD hours.

Aimed at tax specialists working in the professions, financial services or in industry and commerce, each seminar explores significant changes in tax over the previous three months.
